Heart for People believes that education is one of the strongest ways to fight poverty and that international aid should help people help themselves. We support individual projects led by local Ugandans. Heart for People currently supports five schools in Uganda that provide education to orphans and other vulnerable children who cannot attend school otherwise. Heart for People looks for schools and other organizations willing to partner with one of these five schools in Uganda to form relationships and to supply direct aid. This connection creates an accountable and personal avenue to change the lives of hundreds of children both in the United States and in Uganda. The Heart for People Foundation raises its own funds to pay administrative expenses to ensure that individual chapter donations go directly to the partner schools in their entirety.
